I have to say the one thing I dislike about NAU is it's complacency. The attendance at football games was dismal. Advertising for any event or show is minimal. The one time students get fired up about something is over a freakin' band and who is better than who. It's awful when college students would rather call each other "gay" and "fags" over a band than to fight the AZ legislature over unfair college fees (i.e., the mandatory $2,000 bill).

I agree, but I don’t really think it’s NAU specifically. It’s college kids in general. We freak out so much about a stupid band coming this semester (when it’s just as easy to buy tickets to a stupid Kid Cudi concert in the valley….) and when something important comes up we don’t have time for it. It’s sad. :\

I agree. Ashley already knows I would have preferred another performer, but I’d never get in a fight with her or anyone else on Facebook about it. Having an opinion is fine, but aggression isn’t. Also, does anyone know what is happening with HB 2675? I think the bill is reprehensible.
